Penthouse Bar + Grill at Park Hyatt Bangkok debuts a reimagined multi-floor experience with gourmet dining, mixology, and live music.
BANGKOK, THAILAND – The iconic Penthouse Bar + Grill at Park Hyatt Bangkok celebrated the unveiling of its transformed experience with an exclusive event, marking a new era of vibrant ambience and culinary innovation.
Special celebrity guests Woonsen Virithipa Pakdeeprasong and Whan Whan Pavarisa Phenjati joined the celebration to commemorate this exceptional evening. The night showcased a seamless blend of dynamic rhythms, captivating entertainment and artfully crafted cocktails, creating an immersive experience across three floors. With an emphasis on curated mixology and gourmet flavors, the reimagined Penthouse Bar + Grill promises a sophisticated journey that transcends traditional nightlife in Bangkok’s most coveted Penthouse.
The event provided guests a VIP check-in experience, whisking them to the 35th floor via a private express lift for an intimate whisky tasting in the “Johnnie Walker Depth of Blue Room. This flagship Scotch Whisky room features a rare tasting of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, crafted from only one in 10,000 casks, offering a unique experience for whisky connoisseurs.
As the evening unfolded, guests descended to the 34th floor for a curated culinary journey at the Penthouse Grill. Mexican-born Chef Marco Chávez Jaime proudly introduced the signature cooking techniques of the Penthouse Grill – the Koppa Oven & Parrilla. These methods infuse each dish with a distinctive smoky flavor enhancing the natural essence of the ingredients. Guests indulged in specialties such as smoky M5 Short Ribs, Scorched Lumina Lamb Rack, Glazed Homemade Bacon, A5 Kagoshima Tenderloin, A5 Oguma Striploin and M5 Black Market Ribeye along with plant-based options to suit a variety of tastes.
Chef Marco and his team guided guests through a flavorful journey, showcasing their dedication to quality and the art of grilling, ensuring each dish resonated with the unique character of the Penthouse experience.
“Grilling has been my passion even before I stepped into a professional kitchen. But it was on the first day I worked in a dedicated grill restaurant that I truly fell in love with the flavors, aromas and techniques of grilling”, proudly remarked Chef Marco.

Following the interactive meal, guests returned to the 35th floor to witness the debut of LUX, a talented international live band accompanied by a DJ from around the world, now performing live at Penthouse Bar five days a week since November 1st 2024. The band features Ikiri Lawrence, an award-winning vocalist who has performed with Grammy icons, and Jarius Huffaker, a bass prodigy inspired by Earth, Wind & Fire. Joining them is Kenneth Thornton on drums, a renowned artist who has toured with musical giants, and jazz maestro Leroi Kroneberg on keys, preparing the stage for an unforgettable musical journey.
Adding to the energy is Resident DJ Marcus Heier, a skilled Swedish musician with over 2,000 performances across Asia. Known for his expertise on both drums and keyboards, Marcus has perfected the art of blending commercial music with rhythm and groove, creating a deeper connection with audiences.
Fusing pop, funk, house, and hip-hop with the essence of live instruments, he delivers high-energy sets that light up the stage.
