ATEC Meeting Place 2024 unites tourism leaders on the Gold Coast

ATEC’s Meeting Place 2024 on the Gold Coast brings 600 industry leaders together for networking, business meetings, and industry insights.

ATEC announced the launch of this year’s Meeting Place (MP24) program, detailing all the actions that will be part of the event taking place on the Gold Coast from 28-30 October. This year’s event promises to be the biggest and best yet, bringing together around 600 industry leaders, decision-makers, business development managers, and international travel buyers for three days of networking, business meetings, and industry insights.

Supported by hosted by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and Experience Gold Coast (EGC), Meeting Place is a premier platform for Australia‘s tourism exporters to connect with global travel buyers with the event facilitating thousands of business meetings.

ATEC Meeting Place plays a crucial role in the tourism export supply chain bringing together Australian based tourism products with the buyers who help them connect to international visitor markets globally,” ATEC Managing Director Peter Shelley said.

Highlights of this year’s Meeting Place program include:

Keynote address – Curtis McGrath

Four-time Paralympic Gold Medallist Curtis McGrath will share his personal story, from the dust and dangers of Afghanistan to achieving sporting glory. Curtis will inspire with a powerful message about overcoming life’s challenges and using them as a springboard to success.

The Future of Global Travel – Simon Kuestenmacher

Co-founder of The Demographics Group, Simon Kuestenmacher, will explore the future of global travel, offering a data-driven look at the trends shaping the industry in a rapidly changing world.

Tourism Sustainability Pledge – Sara Dolincar
