Using psychometric analysis and ecolodge retreats in Southeast Asia, Naruna aims to empower successful leaders to reach an even higher level of performance and self awareness.
YAANA Ventures has launched Naruna Retreats to help rising business executives unlock leadership potential.
Naruna Retreats has been designed to deliver individual executive and team coaching. It combines rigorous psychometric testing and development of leaders with group retreats sessions in inspirational settings such as Khao Sok National Park in Thailand and ecolodges in Myanmar, Laos, or the Cardamom hills of Cambodia.
At the end of the process participants will have clarity on the impact they have on people around them. They will learn to identify and cultivate admirable strengths. They will acquire techniques to limit undesirable traits. Participants will each have their own personal development plan to nurture growth. They will be able to inspire and enable people around them in business.
“Guided by the principles of courage, humility and discipline, leaders can apply the enabling lessons not just to work, but to their family and personal lives,” said Naruna Retreats founder, Bruce Hancock, who has worked in personal development in Asia, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the Middle East for 25 years.
Hancock is an accredited practitioner of the Hogan psychometric assessment platform and has a background in performance psychology. He is a Marshall Goldsmith qualified coach. The assessment lets leaders understand themselves better. They evaluate who they are, how they behave, and the impact they have on others. The process aligns performance to business success.
Prior to the retreat, a candid feedback session — often a “real eye opener,” according to Hancock — enables the participant to create a personal development plan for positive change.
“At the retreats, open-minded leaders are introduced to a range of new ideas, experiences and ways of thinking,” said Hancock. “These are powerful assets that participants will carry with them for the rest of their lives.”
After the retreat, executives also benefit from one-on-one follow-up sessions to track progress and implementation. They become part of the Naruna network.
