2021 Travellers’ Choice Awards have you covered no matter what the occasion – now expanded to seven tasty subcategories including Hottest New Restaurants, Picture-Perfect, Best Vegan Spots, Best Brunch Spots and Date Night.
Singapore – Tripadvisor announced the winners of its 2021 Travellers’ Choice “Best of the Best” Restaurants awards, with five new categories of must-visit restaurants no matter where you are or what you crave, based on traveller reviews of people who have dined there before. From favourite Fine Dining establishments for the more discerning taste buds and the Date Night category to set the romantic mood, to the Hottest New Restaurants and Best Vegan Spots serving up some of the tastiest plant-based grub. These award-winning restaurants have something to suit every type of palate.
The title of Asia’s #1 Fine Dining restaurant goes to Ise Sueyoshi (also ranked #3 in the World!). Ise Sueyoshi is a Kaiseki restaurant, which serves up a succession of small, beautifully executed dishes. This exclusive Japanese restaurant in Tokyo has only five seats, so guests essentially have the restaurant all to themselves. Guests experience the legendary Japanese hospitality while dining on a multi-course, multi-sensory Japanese cuisine.
New this year, the Picture-Perfect Restaurants category celebrates those places that have a serious wow factor, not just for the food but the restaurant setting as well. These stunning spots are worth a thousand selfies and it’s not surprising to see why Indonesia’s Koral Restaurant has made it to the top of the World list, coming in at #1. Koral delivers a culinary experience like no other. Guests are invited to an underwater world of bistronomic delights at Koral, the aquarium dining experience at The Apurva Kempinski Bali.
If you’re looking to start the day with avo toast and mimosas, the Best Brunch Spots category – another newbie for 2021 – has you covered. One Singaporean restaurant has made it to the World list, ranked #9 – The Kitchen Table. The W Singapore’ bright, airy and cheery all-day dining restaurant promises hearty breakfasts, delicious lunches and indulgent dinners. It is also the stage for the W’s legendary buffet brunches. Even the pickiest eaters can find something amidst the live stations, a variety of desserts (which includes a chocolate fountain), grills, carvery, seafood, local food and more.
