PATA Visitor Forecast Updates – Are we seeing the light at the end of tunnel?

This webinar will provide new updates on the PATA Visitor Forecasts in consideration of the new developments in the COVID-19 pandemic within Asia Pacific.

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) announced the webinar “PATA Visitor Forecast Updates – Are we seeing the light at the end of tunnel?” on May 18th at 3pm )GMT +7). This webinar will provide new updates on the PATA Visitor Forecasts in consideration of the new developments in the COVID-19 pandemic within Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on the influence of the COVID-19 vaccination programme and possible introduction of the travel bubbles on the visitor flows within the region.

Professor Haiyan Song is Associate Dean and Mr and Mrs Chan Chak Fu Professor in International Tourism in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has a background in Economics with a particular focus on tourism demand modelling and forecasting.

 

 

Caroline BremnerCaroline Bremner, Head of Travel Research, Euromonitor International

Caroline Bremner manages the global content strategy for the travel and tourism industry at Euromonitor International, which she joined in July 1996. Caroline has a degree in French (MA (Hons), University of Edinburgh) and Postgraduate Diploma in European Marketing and Languages (PG Dip, Napier University, Edinburgh).

Dr Hardy was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the not-for-profit membership association that catalyses on the responsible development of travel and tourism within the Asia Pacific region, in November 2014. He is the past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the PATA Foundation, a non-profit organisation with a focus on the protection of the environment, the conservation of culture and heritage, and support for education.
