Paing Takhon is a Myanmar model and actor. He began his entertainment career in 2014 as a runway model. In 2018, Paing Takhon was featured on the BuzzFeed “23 Stunning South Asian Men That Are Too Gorgeous For Words”. In 2019, he also ranked second on The Myanmar Times “Top 10 Actors”.

On 21st September 2019, Myanmar Tourism Marketing Association together with the Myanmar Tourism Federation will enter into Memorandum of Understanding with Paing Takhon for the cooperation of Thai Inbound Tourism market development initiates. Myanmar Tourism Marketing Association will also appoint Pai Takhon as Myanmar Tourism Ambassador to promote Thai Inbound Tourism for one year from this day. The event is held at Wyndham Grand Hotel at 3:00 PM.
Thailand tourist arrivals are second largest among the international arrivals into Myanmar after China. About 25 daily direct flights between Thailand (Bangkok and Chiang Mai) and Myanmar (Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyitaw) which opens many opportunities to further develop tourist arrivals from Thailand and beyond. Targeting regional markets being part of our strategy, Myanmar Tourism Marketing will be continuing to promote our core destinations as well as new destinations through roadshows, trade shows and media FAM trip for journalists.
