The new Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian is situated in Fengxian Qingcun, a fast-developing suburban community outside of Shanghai’s hustle bustle that is reputed for its natural ecological environment and for its rich cultural attractions.

Shanghai, China – Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International’s most globally distributed brand, announced the opening of Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian. As Sheraton continues its transformation journey, Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian is the first property in Asia Pacific to display the new logo that was revealed earlier this year.

“Sheraton was the first international hotel brand to open in China in 1985. It has since grown to be one of the most popular brands with over 70 hotels open in China – each serving as a warm gathering place where travelers and local communities come together to celebrate their everyday special moments. Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian embodies our vision for Sheraton, which centers around being the gathering place for our guests and local community members alike,” said Mike Fulkerson, Vice President, Brand & Marketing, Asia Pacific, Marriott International.

Backed by more than 80 years of history, Sheraton revealed its vision for the future of the brand last year with a new design philosophy, including reimagined social spaces equipped with the latest technology that promote socialization and productivity, new dining concepts and service culture. The modernized logo symbolizes Sheraton’s present transformation while also tying back to its brand heritage. The laurels in Sheraton’s signature crest were reimagined into a closed circle to represent the world – celebrating the brand’s history of being the place where people gather.

The new Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian is situated in Fengxian Qingcun, a fast-developing suburban community outside of Shanghai’s hustle bustle that is reputed for its natural ecological environment and for its rich cultural attractions. Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian will be a hub for both locals and travelers to experience the brand’s signature service, dining venues and connect with the history, culture, and tradition of the local community.

All 290 spacious and premium guestrooms and suites offer unmatched comfort. The hotel seamlessly blends modern, elegant design with distinct local touches to create a compelling sense of place. The hotel elevates its guest experience with the Sheraton brand’s exclusive bath amenity collection, Le Grand Bain, created by renowned beauty maverick, Ben Gorham, who is also the founder of Byredo.

Distinctive restaurants and bars provide a range of dining venues for guests and locals alike. Global and local flavors are highlighted in S Kitchen, an all-day dining and buffet restaurant. Meanwhile, YUE® Chinese restaurant offers authentic Huaiyang cuisine with 10 luxury private dining rooms available, perfect for entertaining business clients or treating family and friends to celebrate every day occasions. The Lobby Lounge is the perfect place to connect with friends and colleagues over light bites and signature cocktails throughout the day. Hotel guests staying in executive-level rooms can also enjoy complimentary breakfast, drinks, and snacks during the day at the Executive Lounge.

Relax at Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian’s leisure facilities including a fitness center with cutting-edge equipment available, an expansive heated outdoor pool as well as a children’s pool for guests of all ages to enjoy.

“We are proud to introduce the Sheraton brand to the rapidly growing Fengxian community,” commented Chen Shiyun, General Manager, Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian. “We strive to create everlasting memories that make us part of our guests’ lives while setting the bar for uncompromising service to offer guests an unrivaled stay and dining experience in Fengxian.”

Located close to Qingcun, the hotel is surrounded by tourist attractions such as Qingcun Ancient Town, Bihai Jinsha Water Park, Shanghai Shenlong Ecological Park and Shanghai Urban Vegetable Garden, while providing easy access to Fengxian Economic Development Zone and Fengxian Bay Resort.
