Bangkok, Thailand - Announced in 2019, Minor Hotels has partnered with India’s leading wellness & beauty services and products brand, VLCC to pioneer the concept of wellness in its truest form. Minor Hotels is delighted to be launching the first therapeutic and wellness centre of the partnership in January 2022 at Avani Spa in the upscale Avani+ Hua Hin Resort

Founded in India in 1989, VLCC is renowned for its highly trained staff and now operates in twelve countries with more than 310 locations in 12 countries across South Asia, South East Asia, the GCC Region, and East Africa. A household name in India, synonymous with high-quality wellness and beauty services, VLCC is set to go public highlighting their strength and excellent reputation in the wellness industry.

As Thailand prepares to fully reopen its borders to vaccinated international guests, the opening coincides with a heightened demand for wellness travel to Thailand. The kingdom is regarded as the foremost health and wellness travel destination for world-class standards of pioneering Medi-Spa treatments. After a year of lockdowns and restriction, guests will be able to immerse themselves in a holistic retreat, enjoying head to toe aesthetic and medical treatments during 3 to 21-night residential packages. The programmes will combine traditional techniques with modern medical diagnostic treatments along with tailored exercise and nutrition regimens to deliver all-encompassing results.

The launch of VLCC Wellness will be the only Medi-Spa retreat in the region establishing Avani+ Hua Hin Resort as the perfect destination to relax and recuperate before returning home revitalised. Experienced practitioners, medical specialists, dermatologists, nutritionists, physiotherapists, fitness trainers, Ayurveda specialists and cosmetologists will cater to each guest’s specific needs and requirements deploying a highly scientific and bespoke methodology. A medical improvement and wellness enhancement programme will be offered as a three-night stay programme and will focus on diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and the gut ecosystem.

Addressing lifestyle-related medical and chronic health issues, the VLCC facility at AvaniSpa will also provide aesthetic treatments and IV therapy, in addition to classic pampering spa and beauty treatments for body, skin and hair.

Guests at Avani+ Hua Hin Resort will enjoy a holistic approach to COVID-19 protocols, from on-site PCR and antibody testing to immunity-boosting IV therapy packages and the highest standards of cleanliness as part of Avani Hotels’ global AvaniSHIELD procedures.
