During two days hundreds of meetings were held with luxury hoteliers, DMCs, NTOs and cruise companies connecting with India’s most discerning high-net-worth travellers through the country’s specialist buyers attending the show.

Singapore – Luxury travel brands from USA, France, Spain, Italy, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, and further afield, met with 60 top tier buyers from India, in first-ever virtual marketplace dedicated to this niche market.

During two days hundreds of meetings were held with luxury hoteliers, DMCs, NTOs and cruise companies connecting with India’s most discerning high-net-worth travellers through the country’s specialist buyers attending the show.

Following the success of the first event elite travel curator Luxury Tribe announces the second edition of the show between 22 and 24 February 2022. The exclusive virtual three-day show aims to gather industry mavericks, trendsetters, connoisseurs, and tastemakers.

Organised by World Travel Magazine, Southeast Asia’s & India’s leading consumer luxury travel and lifestyle publication, Luxury Tribe India is a virtual three-day invitation-only show that offers the carefully selected participants a meticulous and personalised line-up of up to 30 pre-scheduled 20 minutes meetings, networking sessions and expert-led conferences.

Latest Delloite’s Global State of the Consumer Tracker analysis reveals a rise in international travel sentiment within the Indian market, with 62 per cent of respondents feeling safe and confident returning to hotels. This is due to decreasing number of Covid-19 cases in the region and an effective rollout of vaccines.

According to Globetrender’s Elite Travel Trends forecast for 2021 private buy-outs of hotels, villas, castles and islands; helicopter and private jet travel; and home-to-home holidays will remain popular choices, with UHNWIs extending their travel plans for long periods of time to avoid any potential travel complications. This translates into high demand for ultra tailored experiences only specialised suppliers can provide.

Ana Toledo, Director of Sales and Marketing, Borgo Santo Pietro in Tuscany adds: “It was great connecting with so many like-minded industry partners and colleagues. Luxury Tribe India enabled us to forge a plan to rebuild the sector through important business relationships.”

“Luxury Tribe India brought together a community that caters to travellers who want to invest their time in bespoke and transformative experiences. The event allowed us to network and provided a platform for meaningful partnerships to develop within the Indian travel industry,” comments Lhazin Y. Nedup, Director of Partnerships, MyBhutan DMC.

"Luxury Tribe India 2021 Virtual Travel Expo was a great opportunity for high end South Asian travel agents to connect with luxury hoteliers, DMCs & Tourism Boards from Asia & Europe. The online platform was flawlessly executed, and I look forward to attending the next event in 2022” says Arjun Sekri, Founder and CEO, The Luxe Voyager.

Sheetal Rastogi, Co-Founder & Business Development Director Luxury Tribe comments: “The goal for this first event was to provide exhibitors and buyers the opportunity to curate experiences that appeal to discerning Indian luxury travellers. Luxury travel buyers and designers catering to this elite group typically work exclusively for family offices with the upmost discretion and cannot be found online. We’re please to facilitate a platform to reach them once again between 22 and 24 February 2022”.

At Luxury Tribe India, exhibitors will have the unique opportunity to meet with this exclusive set of prominent Indian luxury travel buyers, destination wedding planners, pre-qualified luxury travel agencies and senior travel designers exclusively representing high-net-worth clients.

Luxury Tribe India’s ILLUME conference, which is hosted by thought leaders in luxury travel marketing, will provide these key insights mapping out perspectives for the next 24 months and more. ILLUME’s panel discussions and speaker led sessions are tailored to equip participants with ready strategies for successfully acquiring – and growing – their affluent Indian customer base.

Exhibitors at Luxury Tribe India will include selected international luxury hotel brands, destination management companies, jet and yacht charters, airlines, bespoke shopping destinations, tourism boards, and unique independent boutique hotels that are redefining transformative luxury travel for high-net-worth Indian travellers. Each exhibitor may sign up to 30 stringently matched, 1-to-1 pre-scheduled appointments, along with unlimited access to all ILLUME conferences, networking sessions and Café.

Post-event, attendees will receive exclusive ILLUME video recaps and intel briefings, as well as invites to follow-up meetings.
