Laguna Phuket will hold the 24th Laguna Phuket Triathlon on November 19, 2017 featuring a unique 1.8k swim, 50k bike and 12k run through spectacular tropical scenery. This world class triathlon, take in the excitement of the experience and rub shoulders with the pros at the race and social events including Pasta Party and Award Party.

This year as part of Laguna Phuket’s 30th Anniversary Celebration in 2017, the resort will host “Laguna Phuket Triathlon’s Charity Fun Run” on Saturday 18 November, comprising 5 km and 10 km from the South of Thailand to the North for approximately 2,191 km over the course of 55 days. The Charity Fun Run aims to raise funds for its charity partner “Kao Project”, a campaign by Mr. Artiwara Kongmalaihas, Thailand’s leading rock star and lead vocalist of Bodyslam band, best known as “Toon Bodyslam”. Last year Toon Bodyslam ran 400 kilometers in 10 days to raise funds for medical equipment for Bang Saphan Hospital in Prachuap Kiri Khan. Even though Toon won’t be able to make it this year due to his commitment with another charitable event, the project will go on with an aim to raise bigger funds for more than 10 hospitals in Thailand this year.

“Every 100 THB from each “LPT Charity Fun Run” registration Laguna Phuket will top up the amount to double the funds raised at this year’s Laguna Phuket Triathlon”, said Ravi Chandran, Managing Director of Laguna Phuket
