Hybrid meetings at Pullman Bangkok King Power

Actual and remote participants in one hybrid event is the answer of Pullman Bangkok King Power for the post-COVID-19 events.

Pullman Bangkok King Power recently staged a demonstration of the new Hybrid Meeting in their Eternity Ballroom. Forty-six participants participated in-person, watching a keynote address and panel discussion with four executives presenting. Meanwhile, delegates who could not be present at the meeting could log in through virtual and secure access. The event provided an interactive and content rich meeting, ideal for a company Annual General Meeting, team update, product launch or industry conference.

Meetings, such as a company’s Annual General Meeting, have traditionally been hosted solely in a physical location to allow shareholders to directly engage with the Board, and update them on the company’s progress and future.

However, with the recent lockdown in global travel and with many airlines grounded, routes suspended and governments discouraging international travel, more national and global companies recognize that it is not logistically possible to bring all of their stakeholders and shareholders together in one place at the same time in a city such as Bangkok. It is for this reason that Pullman Bangkok King Power has teamed up with B Concept to introduce a groundbreaking Hybrid Meetings package.

A Hybrid Meeting for your AGM, or any other important company or social gathering, allows for the possibility of remote attendees joining the meeting through a virtual element to participate in an immersive real meeting, live. The AGM takes place at the Pullman Bangkok Power with in-room attendees, limited by government advisories on the maximum number of attendees at group gatherings, while the extended audience join in from their offices, homes or anywhere using their smart phone.

Jerome Stubert, General Manager of Pullman Bangkok King Power, commented, “To address current market demand and meeting logistics, we have introduced the Hybrid Meeting package. This is a crossover event that combines the best of both worlds – a physical and virtual meeting, which allows participants to opt between attending at the meeting’s physical location, or being involved online from the comfort of their own home, smartphone, tablet or office. This removes the need for everyone to be in one location, and opens up the possibility of higher attendance and engagement, especially at this time with travel limitations and size of meeting restrictions.”

The mix of in-room attendees and virtual attendees are what constitutes a Hybrid Meeting.
And with the hotel teaming up with B Concept’s hybrid production services, we offer you a secure and confidential meeting environment at Pullman Bangkok King Power.

Full-day and half-day options and customized stage and seating plans are available for hybrid events. Combined with a wide choice of venues at the hotel and a welcome or finale cocktail reception at Mahanakhon SkyBar, the tallest rooftop bar and lounge in Thailand on the 78th floor of King Power Mahanakhon, the hybrid meeting is set to supercharge meetings as businesses resume their full business operations.
