The event was hailed as an unprecedented success, with attendees comprised of leadership from the business aviation industry in mainland China. The full-day event featured historical China and US government keynotes from the CAAC and NTSB respectively, as well as presentation sessions covering various SMS focused topics in areas of flight operations, aircraft maintenance and ground handling from industry-leading companies.

The event’s presentation topics included, but were not limited to, The Importance of Professionalism and Cultivating a Safety Culture, Safety Management System (SMS) in Business Aviation, and Best Practices and Strengthening Cooperation on Investigation to Ensure General Aviation Safety. Several expert panel discussions were held throughout the day centred around the sharing of advice on safety related best practices gained through years of experience at various organizations across the business aviation community.
