Global Eco Conference to reach record attendance despite COVID -19

It is expected that 400+ delegates will attend the live and virtual Global Eco Conference.

With interstate and international delegates unable to travel to Western Australia, the Global Eco Asia-Pacific Conference is being offered as both a live conference in Margaret River and as a live streamed event  from 1-3 December 2020. The virtual conference is being beamed into at least 6 ‘satellite nodes’ across Australia, each with between 30-70 delegates. In addition small groups of up to 5 delegates and individuals are signing up to live-stream the 3 day conference. It is expected that the live conference being staged at the HEART in Margaret River will attract 75-100 delegates in its own right.

“While we are very disappointed that we can’t all get to Margaret River to attend the conference, the upside is that many more people will be able to benefit from a world class program from the comfort of their own location – at a very affordable price,” said conference co-convenor Tony Charters AM

“With some 60 speakers over the three days there is an amazing diversity of content of great relevance to industry, government and academia. Many of the keynote speakers run ecotourism businesses and have important stories to share about surviving the fires of 2019 and COVID-19”.

It is expected that 400+ delegates will attend the live and virtual Global Eco Conference.
