GCA 2022 is also curating three expert stage programmes, namely Digital Construction Asia Masterclass, UAV Asia, and Digital Underground Connect. These programmes, with limited seating capacity, will act as deep-dive classes for participants to expand their knowledge on the latest geospatial challenges and solutions.
The show floor will also incorporate a theatre to facilitate a non-stop and free-to-attend series of Tech Talks on geospatial, digital construction and drone industry developments.
Meanwhile, industry professionals who are unable to attend GCA 2022 in person may attend a series of webinars, schedule online matchmade meetings or utilise event quick chat functions via the virtual event page.
Ng Siau Yong, Director, Geospatial & Data Division and Chief Data Officer at SLA, who is this year’s strategic partner said, “Geospatial technology such as locational data and 3D mapping has tremendous potential to address climate challenges. It could also play an integral role for next stage of the Metaverse development. To this, SLA is pleased to work alongside Montgomery Asia to provide the geospatial community with an avenue for deeper industry collaboration to accelerate the region’s geospatial capabilities and tap on these emerging opportunities. At this edition of GCA, we also look forward to exchanging insights with the community in the areas of 2D and 3D geospatial data collection, development, utilisation and management.
As GCA 2022 stages a larger comeback this year, it presents a prestigious panel of industry partners as sponsors, notably Trimble, who returns to GCA 2022 as a Platinum Sponsor. Other returning sponsors include Planet Labs as a Silver Sponsor, AECOM and Synspective as event sponsors. In addition to the sponsors line-up, the event also welcomes the new sponsors IBM and Screening Eagle Technologies.
John Whitehead, Senior Director of Sales and Distribution, APAC of Trimble Inc, said, “We are proud to once again support GCA as a Platinum Sponsor. GCA’s well-established networks with industry leaders and trade associations make it a showcase for current and future needs, and sharing and exchanging of ideas, along with the presentation of new and upcoming technologies by key industrial experts at GCA, will definitely be the driving force for the progress of geospatial and location intelligence technologies.”
