Dipolog City, Philippines – The eyes of the world will focus in Dipolog as it hosts the preliminary competitions of Man of the World 2019 this coming July! Crystal clear water and powdery white sand of Zamboanga del Norte’s capital will be the backdrop of Man of the World swimwear preliminary competition. Historical landmarks of the city will be the perfect landscape for the Formal Wear preliminary competition.
Man of the World is now considered as one of the major male pageant of today in terms of followers, entertainment value, growing national competition and noble cause of promoting education and tourism.

Man of the World 2019 will be very special because all events will be held in the country’s three archipelago, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
“We really want to bring Man of the World in Mindanao and promote country’s amazing destinations and Dipolog City is the perfect choice, with the full support from the local government and private sector, this will surely be one of the most exciting events that will be widely celebrated and beamed worldwide thru our media partners,” says PEPPs president Carlo Morris Galang.

Man of the World candidates will arrive in the orchid city of the Philippines on July 5 to start the preliminary events. Man of the World is an annual international male pageant that has a noble cause – “promoting education and tourism”. With hundreds of state and national selections around the world and strong social responsibility it is now considered as one of the most important major male pageant of today. Man of the World in Dipolog is thru the initiative of native Subanen entrepreneur and trendsetter Emerilyn Dumulon Suya. For the past few years, she is into business, managing her company Contact Network Group – a B2B Portal based in Thailand. Her success inspired her to work in promoting tourism and livelihood program in her homeland. She is now the project director of MOTW in Dipolog. “It is a fulfillment to bring Man of the World in Dipolog. My passion to promote education and tourism will be appreciated by the worldwide community thru the support of my hometown, together we will surely make a difference” Suya added.
Candidates will enjoy the two-week celebration of Masculinity with Responsibility as they embark on their most exciting journey in representing their countries and help promote education and tourism around the Philippines and to their homeland.
