Accor signs the group’s first serviced apartment property in Singapore

The Accor property boasts a prime location, just a five-minute walk from Orchard MRT.

Singapore – Singapore’s largest hotel operator, Accor, continues its expansion in the serviced apartment segment with the signing of a management agreement to operate 8 on Claymore Serviced Residences located in Singapore’s famous Orchard Road area.
 
Accor is scheduled to commence operations near the end 2021 under the name of 8 on Claymore Singapore managed by Accor, and the property will undergo a soft refurbishment for all rooms and public areas by mid-2022.  
 
The 85-room property will feature a range of modern accommodation, from executive studios to two- and three-bedroom apartments, each with spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, in-room laundry facilities and elegant bedrooms. Guests will have access to the bright and airy Club Lounge, where they can enjoy breakfast, host a meeting, relax with a book, or take part in a range of social events. The Club Lounge also includes a beautifully landscaped pool and a 24-hour gym, ensuring that both business and leisure guests can experience all the comforts of home with the services of an international hotel.
 
The Accor property boasts a prime location, just a five-minute walk from Orchard MRT and is surrounded by the city’s best shopping, as well as within walking distance of the Singapore Botanic Gardens and a host of restaurants, bars and entertainment.

The group offers a leading portfolio of over 300 extended stay properties, comprising of serviced apartments and apart-hotels under brands including Swissôtel Living, Mövenpick Living, Novotel Living, and Mercure Living as well as lifestyle brands operated by Ennismore including Mondrian Living and Hyde Living, among others.
 
This property will join Accor’s network of 28 properties in Singapore including the Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Swissôtel, Novotel, Mercure and ibis brands.
