Socialtel Koh Samui – A new age of fun, social travel

  • Socia\Tel Koh Samui features 272 beds, covering rooms and a secret cocktail bar
  • The flamingo-pink SandBox hosts pool parties.

It’s simple here; why hotels gotta be so anti-social? This innovative concept helps modern travellers to meet new people and live life to the fullest.

KHO SAMUI, THAILAND – Socialtel Koh Samui invites travellers to experience an exciting new style of hospitality – a Gen Z and millennial playground that creates a social buzz and lets global explorers interact and strike up new connections.

This design-led, adults-only property is positioned on Chaweng Beach Road, in the beating heart of Koh Samui’s entertainment district. Guests can chill out in bright rooms, soak up the sun at a vibrant pink pool deck, get to work at the co-working space and coffee bar, stay fit at the gym and yoga zone, and cut loose with cool drinks at any time of day or night.

Created intuitively for a new generation of travellers, this playful party hotel is serious about having fun! The free spirit of Socialtel spills over in its communal spaces, where karaoke evenings, pub quizzes and boozy nights sit side by side with high-end cuisine and wellness events traditionally found at hotels.

The 272 beds include sleek and stylish rooms which come equipped with everything nomads need for a comfy, stress-free trip, such as free Wi-Fi, a private bathroom and hot shower. For visitors who want to splash out a bit more, the Just About Right rooms offer pool views and the Show Off rooms include balconies. Adventure seekers who really love to stay social can opt for the dorm rooms, which can accommodate up to eight people with bunk beds, storage space and privacy curtains.

One of the coolest features of Socialtel is SandBox, an outdoor playground for grown-ups where pink sand and flamingos set the stage for Samui’s coolest foam-filled pool parties. This makes it the ultimate setting to soak up the sun and sip a drink (or few). Speaking of drinks, Socialtel’s Powder Room – Samui’s first and only speakeasy – is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates Insta-friendly cocktails and uplifting house tunes.

But it’s not all play at Socialtel. Digital nomads can maintain their work-life balance at Urban Grunge, a co-working zone that sparks creativity by infusing tech-enabled spaces with fresh coffee and cannabis. Gym bunnies in search of self-care can hit the yoga deck and a rooftop fitness space.

“We are no longer in the service & product industry. We do not operate our space as hotel anymore. We are in a new era of business: inspiring human connection through curated experiences by focusing aggressively bringing people together, community lead spaces and social entertainment. There is only mantra at Socialtel: Be Social \ Live Social.” said Mario Fernando, General Manager & Brand Director, Socialtel.

Looking ahead, Socialtel has its sights set on helping its community maximize their experiences to live life to the fullest, with a unique blend of upscale and laid-back vibes, Socialtel ticks all the boxes. Check it out here.

Socialtel is a concept by Destination Group, the leading owner and operator of leisure resorts and attractions in Thailand.
