The CEO of ONYX Hospitality Group, Yuthachai Charanachitta

ONYX Hospitality is growing fast in Southeast Asia, opening new Amari, OZO, and Shama locations. They’re also venturing into restaurants and sustainability efforts.

ONYX Hospitality Group is experiencing excellent growth in 2024, with a revenue target of 9.463 billion Baht, representing a 19% increase over last year and 23% compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019. This success is driven by the Amari and OZO brands, along with consistent growth in the Shama serviced apartment portfolio.

Strategic Expansion Across Southeast Asia

We are actively expanding our presence in the region, with plans to open over 9 new locations by 2025. This includes properties in Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Laos, and Sri Lanka. Notably, Malaysia will become the first country outside Thailand to feature all three of our brands – Amari, OZO, and Shama.

Yuthachai Charanachitta, the CEO of ONYX Hospitality Group, said: “The company has set an ambitious revenue target of 9,463 million Baht for 2024. The Amari and OZO brands are pivotal in driving this revenue goal, with the Shama brand also experiencing consistent positive growth due to increasing market demand. Moreover, ONYX Hospitality Group’s efficient management, supported by over five decades of experience, has earned the trust of its customers and business partners. This trust is reflected in the long-term contracts through which they conduct business together. The company’s 2024 revenue target aims for a growth of more than 19% compared to the previous year and 23% compared to 2019, pre-COVID-19 outbreak.”
