CHENNAI – It’s been more than two decades of making memories, celebrating the ups, overcoming the downs, and walking hand-in-hand through it all. These 25 glorious years of GRT Hotels & Resorts are being celebrated in a grand way on March 8th 2023.
The homegrown brand has grown exponentially since its inception to become a name known across the globe. With a total of 19 properties under its banner, GRT Hotels Resorts has big plans for 2023, and a ‘Promise of More’ for the years to come.
From the serene beaches of Pondicherry to the majestic hills of Wayanad — the group has constantly innovated and diversified, not only in terms of plush locales, but also in the essence and theme of each property. Loyal guests who keep coming back and a family of dedicated employees that form the backbone of the company are testament to the commitment the group made to excellence back in 1998, which only gets stronger as the years roll by.
To commemorate its silver year, a special day of entertainment and activities is on the cards. All roads lead to Chennai Trade Centre, where the action will take place. Indie band Vaja – Joint by the Sea will belt out some English and Tamil numbers, fashion shows, musical and dance performances by the staff, carnival games and much more are on the cards for guests of all ages.
If one is to go by the standard of cuisine at the GRT properties, we can be sure that there will be a lavish spread at the event with something for everyone to relish.
An incredibly special segment of the evening will be dedicated to recognising those who have gone that extra mile on the job. The awards section will allow those who have performed exceptionally over the years to have their moment in the sun in front of their friends, families, colleagues, Chairman and MDs of the GRT group along with GRT Hotels and Resorts’ Deputy MD T Nataraajan, CEO Vikram Cotah, among other distinguished guests and dignitaries.
The event was embraced by all things GRT and honour the journey so far, while also setting the tone for the year to come. In the midst of family and friends, old and new, the GRT Hotels & Resorts family hopes to create memories that will warm hearts for the next 25 years.
