Traveloka has seen a strong uplift in international travel. In Thailand, international flight and accommodation searches surged by 200% during the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) also reported growth in the previous quarter of 2022, when the Thai outbound market surged to a three-year high in December 2022.

The Thai Travel Services Association (TTSA) said as many as 1 million Thais could visit Japan this year, as outbound tourism is recovering. The TTSA predicted that the total number of outbound tourists could reach between 6 to 7 million, or about 70% of pre-pandemic figures.
