Hong Kong’s Wine & Dine Festival offers gourmet food, masterclasses, and cocktails, celebrating culinary excellence at Central Harbourfront.
HONG KONG & LOS ANGELES – Organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), the highly anticipated annual “Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival” is set to make a triumphant return to the Central Harbourfront Event Space from 23 October (Wednesday) to 27 October (Sunday). This year’s festival will include over 300 booths, and will span five days, allowing locals and visitors alike to fully immerse themselves in this epicurean celebration.
Foodies will be equally delighted by the array of local snacks, delicacies, and Michelin-starred dishes on offer. With booths featuring new “Culinary Stars,” Michelin-starred restaurants and master chefs’ recommendations, attendees are in for a truly unforgettable gastronomic experience. This year’s Wine & Dine Festival continues its tradition of showcasing an exquisite selection of spirits including Chinese Baijiu, whisky, gin, and sake, to creative cocktails and craft beer. Classic vintages will be presented, while a wider spectrum of emerging wine and spirits varieties will also be introduced. The event will also feature masterclasses led by renowned chefs, Hong Kong-themed cocktails created by award-winning mixologists, and a slate of live musical performances.
“The Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival is a signature annual event, and the scale of the event this year transcends that of last year, promising a satisfying visit for participants of all tastes,” states Dr. Pang Yiu-Kai, Chairman of HKTB. “The Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival attracts visitors from all over the world and HKTB has also strengthened its efforts to promote Hong Kong’s allure as a wine and culinary destination.”
Tasting Theatre – Masterclass Programs
This year, two US culinary talents will present in the Tasting Theatre: James Beard Foundation award-winning chef Nancy Silverton will lead a culinary workshop and wine expert and author Anthony Giglio will lead a tasting experience through Old World vs. New World wines. Additional culinary masters from Hong Kong and around the globe will present everything from white truffle tastings to bespoke cooking experiences that will give attendees insight into the fine wines and gourmet food they love.
Exclusive Encounters with Mixology Masters
Attendees can savor Hong Kong-themed cocktails crafted specifically for Wine & Dine by award-winning mixologists from around the world while taking in the scenic views of Victoria Harbour. The lineup includes celebrated mixologists who have been honored by Asia’s 50 Best Bars as well as the World Cocktail Championship.
“Taste Around Town” in November to Showcase Hong Kong’s Status as a World Class Culinary Destination
Following the conclusion of Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival, in November, HKTB will join forces with over 300 restaurants and bars across the city for a month-long celebration of culinary delights. Restaurants and bars throughout the city will offer limited-time discounts, exclusive themed menus and unique specialty cocktails. This opportunity allows patrons to experience the diverse tastes that define Hong Kong’s vibrant food culture.
