Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to reinvigorate ties with European market

The Centre boasts a 33,000sqm of customisable events spaces featuring exhibitions halls, conference halls, ballrooms, auditoria and a myriad of meetings rooms that are complemented by supporting amenities.

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia’s premier purpose-built venue, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to be at IMEX Frankfurt to engage and reconnect with the European Market from 23 to 25 May.

“As the business events industry continues to pick itself up, re-establishing relationships is a significant step in facing the post pandemic business landscape. Europe being a key market for us, IMEX, Frankfurt is the right platform for us to meet and reconnect with existing and potential new clients. It is very encouraging to see the power of face-to-face events and the speed it has returned. We have additional event spaces, tailored solutions and fresh offerings catering to current demands and we are able to cater to more events concurrently,” said John Burke, the Centre’s General Manager.

The Centre boasts a 33,000sqm of customisable events spaces featuring exhibitions halls, conference halls, ballrooms, auditoria and a myriad of meetings rooms that are complemented by supporting amenities such as hospitality lounges, organisers’ offices, business centres as well as services and facilities such as audio visual and IT infrastructure, culinary and catering, as well as housekeeping and security. Located right in the heart of the country’s capital city and part of the integrated Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) precinct, the five-level facility is ideal for large, high-profile congregations to intimate private functions.

The Centre has recently enhanced meetings offerings, including the Daily Conference Packages and Meeting Solution Packages, which have been optimised to create unique experiences for guests and peace of mind for event organisers. These new packages provide the perfect opportunity for new and repeat clients to rediscover the Centre and Malaysia’s famed hospitality.

As part of the enhancement, the Centre’s award-winning culinary team has revamped their menus with creative cuisine that distinctively presents ‘Malaysia on a Plate’, while catering to different palates from around the world. Designed to create personal connections with guests through a unique fusion of Malaysia’s multicultural cuisine and international flavours.

This personalisation of its ‘glocal’ menus and unique 5-star banqueting capabilities to suit any occasion, big or bespoke aims to take diners on an immersive culinary journey. As a market leader in Malaysia and the region, the Centre will be representing Asia in the pre-IMEX event, the 17th Annual AIPC Sales & Marketing Summit themed ‘The New Age of Venue Marketing’, where Burke will be sharing key insights, challenges and strategies, moving forward.
