The five awards were won for Audio Visual Services, Skilling Program of the Year, Virtual Event of the Year – highlighting the successful delivery of the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia’s Pathology Update 2021, Sales, Marketing or Business Development Person of the Year – Gabriella Alberici and the Operations Person of the Year – Jack Crozier.
International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by ASM Global, Australia’s premier integrated convention, exhibition, and entertainment venue, celebrated a night of wins at the esteemed Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) New South Wales Awards, taking home five awards, after being named a Finalist in all five categories entered.
The remarkable accomplishment highlights ICC Sydney’s commitment to delivering extraordinary experiences and cements its world class standing within the business events industry. It comes as the venue enjoys strong demand for international and local events in 2023 and beyond, delivered by an exceptional in house team of professionals.

Reflecting on her award for Sales, Marketing or Business Development Person of the Year, Gabriella Alberici said, “I am beyond thrilled and humbled to have been selected for this wonderful award. Although it’s terrific personal recognition, I also have my valued clients, suppliers and industry partners to thank for their support and the partnership we have developed over the years.”
Senior Audio Visual Technical Manager, Jack Crozier was named as the Operations Person of the Year saying, “I’m extremely proud of all that I have achieved with my team’s support in the last year – from enhancing and innovating our services to skilling up the next generation of audio visual professionals through our AV Graduate Program – to be recognised in this way is certainly a career highlight.”
The MEA NSW Awards celebrate excellence and recognise industry leaders who consistently deliver exceptional experiences and drive innovation in event management. The winners were announced on 16 May 2023, at the highly anticipated MEA NSW Awards Gala Dinner. ICC Sydney is now in the running for the national MEA Awards in the same five categories, with the national awards gala to be held on 8 June 2023.
