Diethelm Travel Group (DTG), an award-winning inbound tour operator servicing Asia, has received a PATA Gold Award in the Marketing Media – E-newsletter category for 2019.

Organised annually by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the prestigious awards recognise tourism initiatives throughout the region within four categories: Marketing, Education and Training, Environment, and Heritage and Culture. Siprang Srinarintranon, Diethelm Travel’s Group Director of Marketing, accepted the award on behalf of the company at PATA Gold Awards Dinner and Presentation in Kazakhstan last night.

Diethelm Travel’s winning submission highlighted an e-newsletter campaign which effectively showcased Diethelm Travel’s sustainable and responsible tourism initiatives. The email content was designed for recipient agents to share the mailing’s travel tips with their clients, providing further value, local insight and expert advice.

“We’re honoured to be recognised by PATA for our communication efforts,” said Srinarintranon. “Today’s travellers and travel professionals have a wealth of information at their fingertips however, this often results in information overload or data fatigue. With this in mind, it’s more important than ever to provide our clients with trusted, accurate information and local insight to our fascinating destinations in continually new and engaging ways.”

Known for crafting exclusive Journeys of a Lifetime across 13 countries in Asia for more than the past 60 years, Diethelm Travel Group prides itself on its expert team of travel professionals worldwide.
