Singapore - Malaysia’s premium integrated resort, Desaru Coast will be introducing its latest developments at the Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) Asia 2018 from 17-19 October at Marina Bay Sands Singapore. With ITB Asia set to receive nearly 1,000 approved regional Asia-Pacific buyers, Desaru Coast will be presenting its new additions, upcoming partnerships and curated events to delight intermediaries in the business of corporate and leisure travels.

Facilities and attractions currently available at Desaru Coast
Internationally renowned Hard Rock International launched the Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast on 24 September, marking its first ever Hard Rock Hotel in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The 365-room hotel is also home to the largest Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club in the region, delivering only the purest experience of this iconic brand. In addition to its stylish accommodations and entertainment options, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast also boasts over 240sqm of indoor event space and an outdoor venue to host 150 guests.
Desaru Coast’s anchor attraction, Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark celebrated its soft opening end of July 2018. Set against the backdrop of a Malaysian fishing village with five zones of about 20 wet and dry slides and rides to explore, visitors can look forward to an experience of a lifetime, including one of the largest wave pools in the world and the first water coaster in the region.
Easily accessible through the land, air, and sea, Desaru Coast has successfully seen the opening of The Els Club Desaru Coast, with the Ocean Course in September 2016 and the Valley Course in March 2017, designed by 4-time Major Champion Ernie Els and his long-standing friend, Vijay Singh.
Desaru Coast Riverside, a stunning 23-acre water-front landscaped retail and lifestyle village located in the heart of the destination held its soft opening in June 2018 offering a wide range of upscale retail, restaurants, cafes and entertainment outlets.
What can be expected in the next phases
Set to open in Q4 this year, the Desaru Coast Conference Centre is a fully-equipped multi-purpose venue with a banquet area and exhibition space that can host up to 1,000 participants in meeting and breakout rooms, VIP lounges, a pre-function area, and courtyard to cater to corporate functions, meetings, exhibitions and entertainment events like no other.
