CIBTM 2009 appoints China Star as the official ground handler

CIBTM, taking place between 8-10 September 2009 at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing and co-hosted by the Beijing Tourism Administration (BTA), has appointed China Star Professional Programs (China Star) as the show’s official ground handler.

China Star, one of the few private travel companies in mainland China that focuses on meetings and incentives, and is actively involved in the Chinese meetings and incentives industry, as a corporate member of ICCA since 2008. It also has staff members involved with key industry associations namely SITE & MPI.

Liu Ping, CEO of China Star enjoys a high reputation in tourism professional circles in China, and has won industry awards for her outstanding business performance. She is currently serving as an International Board Member for SITE.

Graeme Barnett, CIBTM Exhibition Director commented: “We are delighted to be working with China Star to deliver CIBTM. During the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China Star received more than 4500 foreign visitors including Olympic Committee members, national teams and official sponsors.
