Air France and Qantas since 1st of December are offering code-share flights between France and Australia.
This agreement enables Air France to expand its offering, with 6 new Australian destinations, and 34 weekly services. Passengers on the daily Air France flight from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Singapore can continue their trip on a Qantas flight to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth (daily services) as well as to Adelaide and Darwin (3 weekly flights). The same service is available from Australia to France.
In order to offer the fastest and most direct route between Paris and Australia, Air France is offering a completely new service:
Departure from Paris-CDG to Singapore at 23:15 instead of 19:25 to reduce connecting times on Qantas flights in Singapore,
The new Boeing 777-300, equipped with the new Air France Travel Concept, will fly the route,
Faster and easier connections at Singapore airport, as Air France and Qantas now operate from the same terminal.
Finally, Frequence Plus and Qantas Frequent Flyer passengers will fully benefit from this partnership, as they will be able to earn Miles on their entire trip between France and Australia.
