Letter of Intent for potential Russia-Myanmar flights cooperation signed between Domodedovo Airport and Myanmar Airways International

The agreement aims to ensure the successful development of the tourist flow between the Russian Federation and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Myanmar Airways International have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for cooperation, signed by Mrs. Irina Ryabinina, Managing Director of LLC “Domodedovo Commercial Services,” and Mr. Kyaw Soe Hla, Chief Operating Officer of Myanmar Airways International.

The agreement aims to ensure the successful development of the tourist flow between the Russian Federation and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Given this, Myanmar Airways International aims to facilitate this traffic by offering flight options between both countries, offering a new and unique route for the Moscow Aviation Hub — to Yangon while confirming its intention to consider Moscow Domodedovo Airport as its potential airport partner.

Myanmar Airways International was founded in 1993 and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in August 2023. Headquartered in Yangon, Myanmar, the airline operates a fleet of Airbus A319s, Airbus A320s & Embraer E190s from its hub in Yangon International Airport to 16 international & 18 domestic destinations.
