Booking.com unveils branded flights and AI tools in Singapore, enabling seamless trip planning with accommodations, flights, and curated solutions.
SINGAPORE – Booking.com announced the launch of its branded flight product in Singapore alongside new AI-powered features designed to deliver more tailored and time-saving solutions for travellers.
Just in time for the year-end travel season, Singaporeans can now book every aspect of their trip in one place—from accommodations and car rentals to taxis, attractions, and now, flights—underpinned by intelligent and intuitive tools that make travel planning easier and more curated, all through Booking.com.
A new way to book flights
Travellers in Singapore can now search, book, and pay for flights from over 500 airlines to more than 4,500 destinations around the world, all within the Booking.com app or website. The complete, end-to-end booking experience includes everything from flight searches and reservations to post-booking support.
Key benefits of booking flights with Booking.com include:
- Complete price transparency: Booking.com offers full price transparency, with no hidden charges or credit card fees. All flight costs are clearly displayed and communicated upfront.
- Flexible ticket options: For added peace of mind, travellers can choose flexi-ticket options, allowing easy changes to flight reservations if necessary.
- Virtual interlining: For greater flexibility and often better prices, travellers can book multiple flight segments from different airlines (self-connect) to reach their destination. Booking.com also offers a Self-Transfer Guarantee for these virtual-interlining tickets.
- 24/7 customer support: Customers can call the Booking.com customer services team for help and assistance with any reservation related queries or raise any questions using our live chat functionality – both available 24/7
Simplifying travel with AI-powered features
In addition to its flights product, Booking.com is expanding its suite of AI-powered features to deliver more tailored and time-saving solutions for travellers. With Smart Filter, Property Q&A, and Review Summaries, Booking.com continues to harness Generative AI (GenAI) to simplify key steps in the trip planning process, making it easier for travellers to find the perfect place to stay, analyse guest reviews and book with confidence.
- Smart Filters allow travellers to describe their ideal property in their own words. A traveller might type their ideal requirements for their stay, prompting GenAI to scan Booking.com’s entire inventory to automatically apply the most relevant filters, providing a curated list of properties that match their preferences—eliminating the need for manual filtering and saving time.
- The Property Q&A* feature allows travellers to ask specific questions about properties. GenAI instantly pulls relevant information from the property listings, reviews, and photos, delivering concise answers in one place, making it easier for travellers to evaluate if a property suits their needs.
- The Review Summaries (Beta) feature provides key insights about a property without the need to browse through numerous reviews. After further optimisation, the tool will further distil reviews into tailored summaries to highlight what matters most to them, whether that is parking availability or wheelchair accessibility.
*Currently available through the AI Trip Planner with roll-out to property pages in the near term.
The Smart Filter and Property Q&A features are currently live for travellers in Singapore via the Booking.com mobile app, while Review Summaries will be rolled out after further experimentation.
