Air New Zealand has appointed the global airline representative for the handling of all sales and marketing activities in the Italian market. Giulio Santoro, General Manager of Aviareps Italy will be responsible for all operations carried out in Italy on behalf of the airline. The branch office in Milan already services carriers such as Aer Lingus, Air Canada, Air Madagascar, Condor and LTU.

Air New Zealand is the national carrier of New Zealand and operates mainly from their hub in Auckland. Besides many destinations in Asia and the Pacific region, the airline also offers flights to London via Los Angeles. Recently the airline has launched a new service from London to New Zealand via Hong Kong. Thus, passengers of the carrier can now fly around the world.

Scott Carr, General Manager for Europe of Air New Zealand, emphasizes that the appointment reflects the importance of Italy for the airline/s growth in Europe: “We firmly believe that the dynamic, engaged staff at Aviareps will be fantastic representatives for Air New Zealand and will greatly contribute to the airline’s success in Italy. With sales staff across Italy they have vast experience in promoting long haul destinations and quality products which make them a great fit for Air New Zealand.”
