Marc Thompson has this month been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer of global property management provider, NewBook. Marc joins with over 20 years of executive leadership experience, having led global Engineering and Technology teams across a diverse portfolio of industries. His impressive resume includes GM of Product for media giant Fairfax, through to global tech Leadership roles at Fintech start-up Maxwell Forest and digital merchandising leader, Coates Group.

This strategic appointment reaffirms the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality products to the market and its ambitious international growth plans.
Marc succeeds one of NewBook’s longest-standing employees, Dean Kelly, who joined the company in 2005, and held the CTO role since 2020. There is no doubt that his efforts during this time have been significant to NewBook’s success. Dean remains with the company in the newly created role of Chief Information Officer, spearheading its strategic efforts in Information Security, Compliance and Infrastructure.
“The new role of CIO will allow me to focus on and fulfil my passion for facilitating and leading the management of world-class infrastructure, info security and compliance, which NewBook is heavily investing in. Marc is an extremely valuable addition to the team, and I look forward to working closely with him,” said Dean.
This hire follows several key appointments made by NewBook over the past year to drive its international growth and support its customers with market-leading products and tech.
