Small Luxury Hotels of the World welcomed Auckland`s best kept secret, Mollies on Tweed, to its New Zealand portfolio. Located in St Mary`s Bay, in the heart of Auckland, Mollies on Tweed has 10 spacious suites, each uniquely decorated with antiques from around the world.

Owners Frances Wilson and husband Stephen Fitzgerald, have creatively transferred their own passions for the `good life`, art and opera into every element of the hotel – with guests often enjoying a spontaneous performance by the owners and their students, from the Opera School they also run on site.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World members are all distinctive in their own right, reflective of the local area and the very personalities of their independent owners. Mollies on Tweed is a true example of the hidden treasures often found within the SLH portfolio. Lynne Ireland, Regional Director – Asia Pacific for Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Mollies on Tweed brings the New Zealand membership to twelve, with other New Zealand members including: Huka Lodge, Solitaire Lodge, Brooklands Country Estate, Lake Taupo Lodge, Mangapapa Lodge, Wharkekauhau Country Estate, Grasmere Lodge, The Lodge at Paratiho Farms, The George, Eichardt`s Private Hotel and Blanket Bay.
