Star City Hotel & Serviced Apartments, located on the shores of Sydney Harbour, is undergoing a multi-million dollar refurbishment of its 306 standard hotel guestrooms
Following the facelift, which is due for completion in October 2003, StarCity`s standard hotel guestrooms will boast a sleek, contemporary design featuring stylish décor in rich chocolate and natural tones.
The refurbishment program will see 154 of the existing standard hotel rooms upgraded to Superior City View and Superior Pyrmont View rooms (floors 5-9) and 152 rooms to Deluxe Pyrmont View and Deluxe Harbour Bridge View rooms (floors 10- 16).All of the Deluxe Harbour Bridge View rooms have breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour and the city skyline. Both the Superior and the Deluxe guestrooms will be outfitted with new furniture, as well as a range of new soft furnishings including drapes, lounges and coffee tables right through to bathroom accessories.
Star City Hotel & Serviced Apartments Hotel Manager, Richard Munro said, “This is a very exciting time for Star City Hotel as although we have upgraded other areas of the hotel, this is the first hotel guestroom refurbishment program since opening in November 1997.”

All rooms include 24-hour room service, individually controlled air conditioning and central heating, bath/shower facilities, alarm clock, colour TV with cable TV channels, pay per view movies, Star City entertainment channel, international direct dial phone and personalized voice mail. Separate fax/data lines are also available.
For pure indulgence, guests are also invited to experience the all-new Star Spa & Salon opening in September 2003. Located on Level 4 of the Hotel Tower next to Turbines Health Club, the new spa offers a full range of services and is best described as a haven that will rejuvenate the body and relax the mind.
