AWC launches Pride campaign “AWC Let’s Pride” to promote LGBTQ+ equality and tourism in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
Bangkok – Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC) joins a network of public and private partners, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), and over 15 AWC’s affiliated real estate projects encompassing hospitality, retail destinations, and commercial business units, to welcome Pride Month with the ‘AWC Let’s Pride’ campaign. The campaign aims to create a phenomenon of equality and support for gender diversity across Bangkok and major tourist destinations like Chiang Mai, driving Thailand towards a global destination for celebrating equality and a sustainable destination for lifestyle and tourism.
AWC Let’s Pride’ is a campaign celebrating pride, equality in diversity, and self-acceptance. It reflects a commitment to fostering an open and inclusive contemporary society and achieving perfect equality, with the aim of promoting Thailand as a city of equality on the global stage. The ‘AWC Let’s Pride’ campaign is designed 3 highlight activities: ‘Pride Experience, Pride Talk, and Pride Cheerful’ as follows:
1. Pride Experience: Tourist destinations and AWC’s affiliated real estate projects will be decorated with vibrant rainbow colors. There will be a spectacular rainbow flag parade in Chiang Mai, from Chiang Mai Religion Practice Center to Tha Phae Gate, on 26th May, and at Asiatique The Riverfront Destination on 8th June. These events will feature a variety of activities, including costume displays, dance performances, photo spots, and Pride Market offering a wide selection of products and a variety of food and beverages for everyone to enjoy.
2. Pride Talk: Panel discussion will be held featuring experts and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including ‘Mr. Anont Vidhayasirinun’, Head of Marketing – Retail and Wholesale of AWC, who will share insights and work practices within the organization. Joining him will be renowned artist ‘Koendanai’ – Pataradanai Setsuwan, psychotherapists interested in studying psychotherapy and supporting a happy life in their own style are invited to join discussions on ‘Equality for You’ and ‘Equality in the Workplace.’
3. Pride Cheerful Pride Stay: Exclusive promotions offered during the pride month for accommodation, dining, beverages, and workshop activities from AWC affiliated hotels in both Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
Pride Movie: Enjoy watching outdoor movies that presents ideas about gender equality, lifestyle, and everyday work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout June.
Pride Music: Mini concerts featuring renowned Thai artists such as EARTHLOLLIPOP, Silvy Pavida Moriggi, Ton Thanasit Jaturaput, and Padcha Chanudom Suksatit. Follow the schedule of more events on the official pages of participating retail destinations under AWC.
A total of 15 AWC’s affiliated real estate projects are participating in the ‘AWC Let’s Pride’ campaign, including hospitality, retail destinations and commercial business units. In Bangkok, these include Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, Le Meridien Bangkok, Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit, Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn, Asiatique The Riverfront Destination, Gateway Ekkamai, Gateway at Bangsue, Lasalle’s Avenue, and The ‘Empire’. In Chiang Mai, the projects include InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping, Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, Meliá Chiang Mai and The Pantip Lifestyle Hub.
