A special collaboration between Resorts World Cruises and Tao One Ltd for the 19-23 March 2023 sailing.
SINGAPORE – Resorts World Cruises signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tao One Ltd, a Singapore Taoist non-profit organization, to launch the world’s first-ever lion dance competition at sea, which will be held exclusively on the Genting Dream from 19–23 March 2023. The first of its kind at sea on a cruise ship, the ‘Tian Fu Gong White Dragon King International Lion Dance Open’ competition will feature top lion dance troupes from the region, primarily from Singapore and Malaysia as they vie for the coveted gold medal title status. The onboard venue setting of the competition will include the main pool area with a stunning 360 degrees panoramic backdrop of the ocean, as well as at the iconic Zodiac Theatre with a seat capacity of 1,000.

Held since 2018, the ‘Tian Fu Gong White Dragon King International Lion Dance Open’ competition had previously welcomed over 72 lion dance troupes from across the world and is expected to create a more exciting competition in 2023.
