World Travel Fair 2003 (WTF) will be hosted at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from September 3 – 6, under the auspices of the Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission (SMTAC) and Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs China & Keylong Exhibitions Service.
The exhibition will be open three days to the public, and only one day for the trade, as the main purpose is to inform the Chinese travellers for new destinations characterised as `approved destinations`, by the Chinese government.
Micheil Kruse, director of Keylong Exhibitions announced that the mission of WTF this year is to demonstrate to Chinese travellers different destinations. We want visitors to see a country, feel a country, taste a country.
The fair coincides with Asia Business Travel Market, Shanghai`s first mart dedicated to the corporate traveller, the from September 3 – 5. This mart is also hosted in part by the SMTAC.
