Viet Nam`s tourism sector provided services to 460,000 foreign tourist arrivals and more than 2 million local holiday makers in the first two months of this year.
At a recent conference, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan called on the tourist sector and other relating agencies to provide more diverse tours and services to achieve a target of welcoming 2.8 million foreign tourists and 14 million local visitors this year.
Last year, the country welcomed 2.6 million foreign tourist arrivals and 13 million local holiday makers.
