Bangkok, Thailand – The wait is over! Topgolf Megacity, Bangkok’s newest and biggest sports and entertainment complex, is officially opened to the public yesterday Wednesday, August 17th. Guests can now enjoy the all-in-one destination of play, food and fun located right next to Megabangna shopping center.

For its official launch, Topgolf has invited media, VIPs, celebrities and influencers as special guests to experience Topgolf’s exceptional gameplay, food, and drinks. The opening week is tinged with fun, excitement, and laughter.

First, Topgolf is not a place for golfing fanatics alone. Topgolf is all about entertainment, good food, and drinks. Topgolf Megacity features 102 golf hitting bays, five bars and restaurants, a Topgolf Academy, and The Puttyard, the best 18-hole minigolf course in Bangkok. Each hitting bay has comfortable sofas, with high-quality Thai and international food served to the bay.

Whether playing at the bays or not, Guests can also enjoy the Topgolf Sports Bar, dubbed Bangkok’s best sports bar, an open-air rooftop bar Pink Giraffe, a casual all-day dining Patio, with its unique food bus, and a stylish wine and whiskey lounge called Devil’s Lounge.

“With the first Topgolf venue in Southeast Asia, we’re setting a new standard for sports and entertainment in Thailand. It’s not only a place for playing the fun Topgolf game, it’s a venue for the community to meet, eat and have a great time together. Topgolf Megacity marks the first step in the regional expansion of Topgolf, with more venues to be announced,” said Andrew Nathan, Managing Director, Topgolf Southeast Asia.

“Topgolf Megacity is building on the success of Topgolf’s 79 venues the world. We have taken the best of 20 years of Topgolf and localized it for the Thai market, for example by adding food and drinks concepts that people in Thailand will love. Our 400 Team Members are ready to welcome Thai people of all ages and all golf skill levels,” added Tim Boda, Head of Operations, Topgolf Thailand.

The company has brought its renowned innovative technology to Thailand.  Players can score points by hitting micro-chipped golf balls at 11 giant targets on the 205-yard outfield. Toptracer ball-tracing technology and 300 HDTV screens at the hitting bays open a world of gameplay.

Using free golf clubs provided by Topgolf, guests can choose from a variety of fun games to play, including classic Topgolf games, a virtual Angry Birds game, Jewel Jam or virtual golf courses. But unlike golf simulators, people will play actual golf balls into an outfield.

Topgolf’s venue can be transformed into a multipurpose event space, with use of hitting bays, private function rooms, outdoor lawn, and bars and restaurants. This makes Topgolf Megacity the perfect place for events of any scale, from birthday celebrations to teambuilding events and company outings.

Topgolf gameplay ranges from THB 850 to THB 1,450 per hour per bay. Each bay can accommodate up to six players. Topgolf Megacity welcomes everyone with the opening promotion Solo 9 to 5, giving golfers a private bay with unlimited balls at THB 350 per hour. The offer is valid from Monday to Friday, between 09:00 – 17:00 hrs.

A one-time joining fee of THB 150 per new player applies. This includes unlimited balls, full range of Topgolf games, game date, ball flight analysis through Toptracer technology, and free use of Topgolf clubs.
