The event is aimed mainly at hotel staff members, however, people working at day spas might also find it worthwhile attending the Masterclass.

The Thai Spa Masterclass is organized by Centara Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain of Thailand, as part of the 2014 TravelDailyNews Masterclass Series, which was first launched in Europe in 2013. This five-day seminar will be taught at the Centara Grand Beach Resort, one of Centara’s luxury hotels on the island of Phuket, in an exotic and serene environment, and will focus on age-old treatment techniques with local herbs.

The main instructor of the Masterclass is Miss Nuanjan Paya, an experienced spa trainer with a 15-year career in Thailand, USA, Mauritius, and India.

This is a hands-on learning experience. Seminar attendants will practice all the treatments that will be taught during the Masterclass. They are therefore required to have prior experience in body treatments and particularly in aromatherapy massage.

Miss Nuanjan Paya has been pursuing her spa career for over 15 years. She commenced her career in the position of Spa Therapist greatly interested in holistic health and started using traditional Thai therapies to treat different body ailments such as chronic migraines, joint paint and indigestion. She then expanded her career to overseas destinations in the capacity of Senior Spa Trainer providing quality treatment services to local communities while teaching local therapists on applying traditional Thai treatments and herbs in their spa menu.

Serving as Cluster Spa Trainer for the SPA Cenvaree chain, Miss Nuanjan is passionate in training the Chain’s therapists to be the region’s best and is innovative in integrating Traditional Thai therapies into the modern world of spas, bringing guests a modern twist to their spa experience.
