Thailand and China plan to boost bilateral cooperation through an action plan. The plan of action is expected to be ready before the Chinese Prime Minister, Wen Jiabao, visits Bangkok in December, said Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Apart from China and Thailand`s strategic partnership, the two countries are drafting a joint action plan which will cover international politics, trade, tourism, investment and security, Mr. Thaksin said.
The foreign ministries of the two countries will draft the action plan, which will be completed before the Chinese premier visits Bangkok in December, he added.
Mr. Thaksin has just completed a three-day official visit to China, scheduled for 30 June-2 July to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sino-Thai diplomatic ties. During his visit, Mr. Thaksin held talks with his Chinese counterpart on boosting bilateral cooperation.
