Bangkok, Thailand – Thai Vietjet today celebrated the inaugural flight of its new international service connecting Bangkok and Taipei, with the welcome ceremony at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, on August 18, 2022.
Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Vietjet, said, ” We are delighted to launch another new international flight service, which connects Bangkok with the beautiful city of Taipei, one of the top destinations for Thai travelers, not long after the Covid-19 pandemic has been put under better control. Currently, passengers entering Thailand are no longer required to possess a certificate of testing for a negative COVID-19 result prior to entering the country or upon arrival. Passengers are also not required to quarantine upon arrival due to the removal of the ‘Test & Go’ scheme from 1 May 2022.
