Thai Airways links its frequent flyer program to Okura hotels

Thai Airways International Plc has linked its Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) with the Okura Group.

BANGKOK- Thai Airways is reinforcing its frequent flyer program Royal Orchid Plus with the integration of Japan’s hotel chain Okura Group. A few weeks ago, Thai frequent flyer program’s management celebrated its new partnership with the Okura Group, which is the first Japanese hotel chain to partner with THAI’s Royal Orchid Plus beginning on 1 January 2014. THAI currently flies to seven destinations in Japan.

The Thai carrier launched last week direct roundtrip flights from Bangkok to Sendai. THAI operates three roundtrip flights per week from Bangkok to Sendai on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, depart from Bangkok at 23.59 hours and arrive in Sendai at 07.55 hours local time on the next day. On the return, flights departs Sendai on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 10.30 hours and arrive in Bangkok at 15.40 hours on the same day.
