The top-up ceremony at Swissotel Grand Shanghai marked a significant milestone in the hotel’s journey towards its targeted completion by the end of 2007. The hotel, managed by Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Shanghai Jing An City Construction Fitting Development Company (Jing’an Chengjian), further strengthens Swissotel’s foothold in the buoyant China market.
Present at the ceremony were Mr Meinhard Huck, Managing Director of Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, Mr Xu Jian Zhong, General Manager of Jing’an Chengjian as well as key personnel of both companies.
Mr Meinhard Huck expressed his appreciation to the staff of Jing’an Chengjian, praising them for their strong commitment to completing the project on schedule. He added, “We certainly look forward to a hotel we can all be proud of when it opens. It will no doubt be an icon of excellence in the city of Jing’an. This will not be possible without your effort and I thank you all once again for your hard work.”
