Following a six-month trial which started in July last year, Chinese visitors can now submit their visa applications through authorised travel agents.
There are now 43 authorised agents with 322 branches located in major cities across China.
The Singapore Tourism Board hopes its efforts will make it more convenient for Chinese tourists to visit Singapore.
It is also working with the travel agents to develop better quality tours to entice Chinese tourists to stay for a longer period in Singapore.
Other recent initiatives to woo Chinese tourists include health screening cum leisure.
Such packages allow tourists to come to Singapore for health screening and at the same time, enjoy a holiday at tourist attractions and spas. It even throws in a golf game.
