Rebranded Hotel Nikko Oita Oasis Tower to open in December

As Okura Nikko Hotel Management's ninth hotel property on Kyushu island, the rebranded hotel will also play a vital role in strengthening the group's business network and improving visitor convenience.

TOKYO – FTC Hotel Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. and Okura Nikko Hotel Management Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hotel Okura Co., Ltd., jointly announced that they will open the rebranded Hotel Nikko Oita Oasis Tower in southern Japan this December. The rebranded hotel will be operated under Nikko Hotels International.

Hotel Nikko Oita Oasis Tower, currently operating as Oita Oasis Tower Hotel, is the tallest building in Oita Prefecture on Kyushu island, the southernmost of Japan’s four main islands. The hotel offers panoramic views of downtown Oita, Beppu Bay, Kunisaki Peninsula and Mt. Yufu. It is an eight-minute walk from JR Oita Station and within easy reach of the Oita Prefectural Art Museum. The property is part of Oasis Hiroba 21, a commercial complex that also houses the Oita Prefectural Culture Center and the local bureau of Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK). The rebranded hotel will build on its well-established reputation as one of Oita’s most beloved guesthouses.

Hotel Nikko Oita Oasis Tower will proudly join Okura Nikko Hotels, which currently boasts 72 hotels and 12 branches across the world. The newly rebranded hotel is expected to benefit significantly by joining this international network, including Okura Nikko Hotel Management’s robust centralized reservation network to benefit visitors worldwide. For example, reservations for Hotel Nikko Oita Oasis Tower can be made through a central reservation office available in eight languages.

As Okura Nikko Hotel Management’s ninth hotel property on Kyushu island, the rebranded hotel will also play a vital role in strengthening the group’s business network and improving visitor convenience.

Hotel Nikko Oita Oasis Tower will hereafter undergo partial renovation as a part of its transition to offer Nikko Hotels International’s style of hospitality. The rebranded hotel will honor the network’s friendly, sophisticated culture to cement its status as Oita’s ideal venue.
