The demand of the Russian tourists for the tours to different countries increased in two times during 9 months of 2010 in comparison with the same period of last year. So, Yandex users confirmed the data of the Federal State Statistics Service, Russian Aviation Authorities and TOURMARKET.INFO concerning the growth of outbound travel market of Russia for more than 40%.
The statistics of Yandex search system indicates the growth of demand for 50% during 10 months of 2010 in comparison with 2009. The maximal dynamics of the demand of this year was noted in October. The demand for the tours to different countries increased by 80% in comparison with October of last year. The minimal dynamics of the demand was noted in February (+25% in comparison with the same period of last year).
The greatest increase of the demand among Yandex users showed Tunisia during the period from January to October 2010 (+102%). The demand for the tours to Spain, Greece and Thailand increased by more than 70%, the demand for Maldives for more than 60%, as for the demand for the tours to Turkey, France, Italy, Cyprus, China and Indonesia, the increase was noted by 50%, the demand for the tours to Croatia, Egypt, Israel increased by more than 40%.
Egypt became the leader, as a year ago, in general rating of all the Yandex requests with the share of 17.5%, the 2nd place kept Turkey with the share of 16.4%.
