New international summer schedules for Olympic Airways

Olympic Airways<.> is making significant changes on its summer schedules, aiming to a high quality passenger service and the improvement of the airline`s fleet exploitation. The new scheduling to be inaugurated, has – mainly – to do with OA`s international network. All substantial changes and improvements are the following:

Nine nonstop weekly flights from Athens to New York. All daily flights will be taking off from Athens at 11:50 and from New York at 17:35. Furthermore two additional flights will be leaving Athens every Friday (effective from June the 2nd) and Monday (effective from June the 18th) at 17:00 and new York at 22:45 (no.flt OA 417 / OA 418). Olympic is willing to offer a better and improved service to its business travelers by giving them the opportunity to make good use of their time during the whole day before taking off. After the introduction of nine weekly connections, Olympic Airways is the only Carrier offering such a high frequency between Athens and New York.

Four flights a week from Athens to Toronto, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday until June the 17th and every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday starting from June the 18th.

Four flights a week from Athens to Montreal, starting from June the 18th, which will be leaving Athens on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Three weekly services Athens to Boston, effective from June the 18th, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Three flights a week from Athens to Bangkok and Sydney with new time schedules aiming to an improved passenger service and more convenient connections. All flights will be leaving Athens on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and will be landing back in Athens every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Flights leaving Athens on Tuesdays and Fridays will be reaching Melbourne as well. Olympic Airways is the only airline linking Greece with Australia with a direct service, offering the soonest journey between the two countries.

Three daily flights from Athens to London Heathrow together with a daily service from Thessaloniki to London Gatwick. Olympic Airways, will now be the only airline offering such a high frequency between Greece and the United Kingdom and between Athens Hellinikon Airport and Heathrow.

Two daily flights from Athens to Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Two nonstop daily flights from Athens to Frankfurt together with a nonstop service between Thessaloniki and Frankfurt.

Two nonstop daily flights from Athens to Munich in addition to a new Thessaloniki-Munich daily service.

Five flights a week from Athens to Berlin, nonstop, every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and three weekly flights from Thessaloniki to Berlin on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Olympic Airways is the only scheduled carrier offering a direct Athens-Berlin service.

Three daily flights from Athens to Milan.

Three daily flights from Athens to Rome.

Four weekly services from Athens to Moscow-Sheremetyevo, leaving Athens on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Daily service between Athens and Dubai, establishing OA as the only airline offering a direct flight linking the two cities.

Three weekly flights to Amman, nonstop, taking off from Athens every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Return flights will be leaving Amman every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Inauguration of an Athens-Benghazi service, effective from April the 30th, linking the two cities three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Inauguration of an Athens-Tehran service, effective from June the 19th, three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Inauguration of an Athens-Manchester service, effective from June the 18th, taking off from Athens three times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and leaving Manchester on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
