Jonathan Wigley has been promoted to the position of Vice President Operations for Minor International one of Asia’s hotel developers and operators. In his new capacity with the company, Wigley will oversee all operations for the Marriott and Anantara properties. He will also ensure the successful performance of existing resorts within both portfolios, and work as a leading member of the Anantara brand team in the development of forthcoming ventures in Sri Lanka, Bali, Dubai and Thailand.

Jonathan Wigley joined the company in 2003 as General Manager of the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa and in August of 2005, he was promoted to the role of Group General Manager for Marriott Hotels in Thailand (Bangkok, Hua Hin and Pattaya). In April 2006, Wigley’s responsibilities grew to encompass both Marriott and Anantara Resorts in Thailand, as well as the Harbour View Haiphong Hotel in Vietnam.

Jonathan is a proven, well rounded industry leader and his extensive operational and brand development skills are indeed a tremendous asset to Minor International said Michael Sagild, COO Minor International.
