The Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) has taken the opportunity to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nepal Association of Tour Operators (NATO) during their visit to Kuala Lumpur on the occasion of the Nepal Road Show in South East Asia.

With the expansion of airline connections provided by Royal Nepal Airlines and Qatar Airways, between Kuala Lumpur and Kathmandu, the number of Malaysian residents visiting Nepal as well as Nepal residents visiting Malaysia has increased significantly. As a result of the MoU, NATO and MATTA will exchange information and suggestions for the enhancement of travel trade industry on reciprocal basis as well as cooperate and support each other for organizing training, workshop, seminars and promotional activities towards the development to travel trade industry.
