Lufthansa City Center strengthens its India footprints

In a significant announcement Germany’s Lufthansa City Center (LCC), one of the fastest growing international travel networks in the world has appointed, New Delhi headquartered Pearl International Tours & Travel Limited (PITT) as  a new Business Plus licensee in India. The Rs 540 crore PITT is a group company of the Pearl Pet business house.

The Business Plus Lufthansa City Center offers tailor-made solutions to suit the needs of the corporate travellers. “The LCC Business Plus License will further strengthen PIIT’s hold in the fast growing Corporate travel space. It allows us to access a network of over 600 offices of LCC in almost 80 countries besides deploying state of the art systems & processes at par with international standards.” Said Arjun Seth, Executive Director, Pearl International Tours & Travels Ltd.

According to Michael Marx, Head of Business Plus at Lufthansa City Center, “With PITT as a Business Plus partner in India, we are represented in an economic metropolis that has a huge potential. I am confident to enlarge our customer portfolio and offer a value proposition in addressing the demands of one of the fastest growing corporate travel markets in the world.”

Commenting on this union Mr. Seth stated, “Having successfully positioned ourselves in the B2B travel agency sales, I am confident that this alliance will give us significant traction in addressing the demands of the business travel segment in India.”

Business Plus LCC offer professional planning and advice before, during and after a trip, with detailed management information reports indicating all components of a professional travel management system. Employing state-of-the art management information systems (MIS), Business Plus ensures a transparent and clear presentation of all customer travel expenses, supporting the companies to efficiently optimise travel budgets. Furthermore, the service portfolio includes an own international Hotel Programme with more than 13.000 hotels world-wide, a 24 Hour Hotline Service number for emergencies, state of the art systems and procedures.
